Arrive Casablanca
You will arrive to Casablanca today where you’ll be picked up at your point of arrival. Our first stop will be to the Hassan II Mosque, the 7th largest mosque in the world. This mosque can accommodate up to 105,000 people and has a retractable roof to cope with the heat of summer. Taking 7 years and 10,000 craftsmen, this architectural wonder is built on the Atlantic Ocean, and is described as “the throne of Allah was built on water”. We also stop to visit the Eglise Notre Dame de Lourdes. Built in 1956, the most outstanding external feature of the church is a massive concrete “hood” which towers over doorways of the church and is completed with a small crucifix attached at its highest point. This feature is one of the more remarkable fixtures of the church but it is the absolutely breathtaking stained glass windows that capture everyone’s attention. After this visit, we will travel to the nearby town of Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Dinner and Overnight in Rabat.
Rabat – Asilah
After the breakfast, you will take a tour of the city that includes the HassanTower, and the neighbouring Mausoleum of Kings. The complex remains a must see and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will stop to visit the Oudayas Kasbah, where you will see its incredible gardens and walled in city.
We then continue your private tour by a special visit to the pirate city of Salé with a local university lecturer (and one involved in the restoration!) and enter sites not accessible to the general public, just for us only, such as the dungeons, the tower, all the while learning about the history of the Medina.
After lunch, we will take the coastal road that will afford you some spectacular views of the Atlantic, and stop to visit the Hercules Cave and Cap Spartel. is an intriguing cave complex steeped in myths and legends. According to the lore, it was even visited by one of Roman mythology’s most famous heroes.
According to the myth, Hercules (adapted from the Greek Heracles) slept here on his way to steal three golden apples from the Garden of the Hesperides. Stealing the apples, which were believed to confer immortality, was the 11th of the “12 Labors of Hercules.” According to the ancient writers, the garden was located in nearby Lixus (the current city of Larache at the Atlantic coast). The caves are close to the Cap Spartel lighthouse that was built between 1861 and 1864 by an international coalition (including the United States, France, Spain, and Morocco) and marks the entrance of the Strait of Gibraltar.
We head off to our stop for the night, Asilah. Arzila, the Spanish Arcila is allegedly founded by the Phoenicians and later occupied by the Spanish. Asilah remains a must visit of 2022. Chosen as a location for Hollywood films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Jewel in the Nile, and more recently Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones, Ait Ben Haddou sits upon a lofty pinnacle of rock overlooking a river. Dating from around the 15th century, its importance as a trading post gradually waned, and today’s inhabitants eke a living from farming… and as film extras!

Marrakech Guided City Tour
The Place Jemaa El Fna, classified by UNESCO in 2001, is the emblematic place. In the heart of the medina, the Place Jemaa el Fna is the essential place of the city.
Day and night, the Place is bustling: charmers of snakes, dancers, gnaouas recognizable to their headgear adorned with seashells, traditional dancers, storytellers, and other troublemakers. And the incredible taverns installed at night, offering you a variety of Moroccan dishes, leaving you surprise by some! Not far from here is the Koutoubia mosque, with its imposing Almohad minaret. From a height of 70 meters, beautifully decorated in a Moorish style, it dominates the city, like a lighthouse. Open to all, pushed together gardens will offer you a stop refreshing and relaxing.
Through his infinite maze of shaded lanes, you will receive the multitude of small shops and craft workshops, intoxicated by the scent of spices. Hard to resist! It is now time to admire the inside of the houses contained in the narrow streets of the medina.
One of the most splendid is undoubtedly the Bahia Palace, located in the Mellah, South of historic city. The centerpiece of the Moroccan architecture, it covers 8000 m2, and is the receptacle of the know-how of the craftsmen. Around the central garden, planted with orange, you can admire in the parts confortabe ceilings painted and gilded, wooden marquetry as fine as lace, like stucco, and zelliges bordering the fountains.
We continue our exploration of Marrakech. We will visit the Majorelle garden. Certainly much more recent, is no less a place apart, where multiple floral varieties thrive, beautifully enhanced by colorful built elements. The main building of a specially created dynamic blue for her, named after the french painter who made his studio in the 1920s: Jacques Majorelle. Bought in 1980 by Yves Saint-Laurent, it emanates from the garden a feeling of serenity, reinforced by the pools scattered in space.
The rest of the day at leisure, perhaps to try a hammam or relax in the square? Overnight in Marrakech.
